Meet Eglė – From Office Administrator to Export Manager

At Flintas Publishing, we believe every story has its own adventure – and so do our people. This autumn, our colleague Eglė Jocienė begins a new chapter, stepping from the role of Office Administrator into her new position as Export Manager.

To celebrate this change and help everyone get to know her a little better, we sat down with Eglė for a light-hearted interview – full of imagination, memories, and a touch of magic. 

If you were a character from a children’s book, who would you be and why?
Probably Peter Pan – always with a backpack ready for adventure, a bit lost sometimes, but always searching.

What was your favourite childhood book?
The Little Prince – his curiosity and adventures remind me that the world is full of unexpected discoveries.

If you could publish your own book, what would it be about?
About small everyday miracles – when morning coffee turns into an idea, and an idea becomes an adventure.

If you had to play a character from children’s literature, who would you choose?
Maybe Karlsson (Astrida Lindgren "Karlsson on the Roof") – a little mischievous, but always with a good heart.

Share the funniest or most unexpected story from your childhood.
With my friends, we used to build a secret ‘headquarters’ under the kitchen table. We wrote serious plans, drank cocoa, and dreamed up big ideas. I guess that’s where my love for organizing began – from managing imaginary missions to real projects!
