Little Ant Wonderwhy

The first book about Little Ant Wonderwhy, published in 2015, was a huge success. Real facts, funny stories, and unexpected inhabitants of nature quickly found their way into the hearts of readers, young and old. At the request of her readers, author Rasa Dmuchovskienė couldn't stop writing, and so five more books were born, with the latest – the seventh – already on its way.

In 2025, the author was awarded the International Order of the Smile for her contributions to children, which is awarded at the written request of children. Mother Teresa, Astrid Lindgren, Pope John Paul II, and other notable individuals have also received this award.

Little Ant Wonderwhy is a curious, cheerful little creature who constantly meets new friends and never stops asking questions. Fun dialogues and funny questions help readers learn about nature, its phenomena, and animals. The wonderful illustrations by artist Gintaras Jocius introduce children to animals up close. 

  • Six books about Little Ant Wonderwhy have already been published, and the seventh is on its way. Over 1,000 copies of the latest book were sold in advance, signed by the author Rasa Dmuchovskienė. It took her 33 hours and four pens. Children in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Finland, China, Romania, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic enjoy Little Ant Wonderwhy books. A total of 66,000 books in the Little Ant Wonderwhy series have been printed!
  • In 2024, the nature and adventure magazine Little Ant Wonderwhy for children aged 4-7 began publication in Lithuania and Latvia. In the magazine, children learn about animals, solve puzzles, read comics, and take tests. The magazine is published every three months.
  • The search book Little Ant Wonderwhy "Hide and Seek" is a fun and educational adventure for children from the beloved Little Ant Wonderwhy book series. In each section, young readers are invited to search for forest animals, plants, and other hidden wonders of nature, which encourages observation, concentration, and curiosity.
  • Maze books, Seasons with stickers. These books combine children's favorite maze tasks with learning about nature.
